If you`re interested in chiles but got scared with all the hydroponic systems and other complicated systems, DON`T WORRY!
It isn`t all necessary, it just fun and as the hobby grows, people want to search for all possible methods of growing! :)
If you want to keep it simple, just grow chiles in soil.
If you want to keep things easier and even more simple, you should try passive hydro system! They`re very cheap, you can use any decoration pot with them and they`re very easy to maintain. Less problems and more yield!
For starting you`ll need:
- passive hydro pots
- water level indicator
- expanded clay
- slow-release fertilizer (add more only every 2 or 3 months)
Then, start growing!
Just add water when the indicator tells the waterlevel is getting low!
This is what you can get with good varieties and nice amount of light!
