C. pubescens 'Rocoto Red Peruvian'This plant has been grafted with a tomato, which means that the base (and other branches) are a tomato plant and one branch is a Rocoto plant. :) The funny thing here is that this pod is definitely the heaviest rocoto pod I've ever seen. Not the largest one but it feels like the pod is full of flesh (or water). The other thing worth menationing is that the grafted plant produced pods much, much faster than the mother plant Rocoto. If you want to grow more than one different varieties (or plant types) in a single plant, read how to graft here: http://fatalii.net/grafting.pdf
