Repotting

This picture should teach a lot about watering the soil correctly. Very often, the chile plants are being overwatered. Especially beginners tend to overwater the chileplants. And when the leaves get yellow because of the overwatering, they fertilize it. Fertilizing an overwatered plant especially in low-light conditions isn't a great idea! So don't water too often and water small amounts each time, depending on the plant size and circumstances. As you can see, the soil is totally dry to over halfway of the pot. And still, there's enough moisture for few days more. At this point, I usually repot the plant into a bigger pot. When growing outdoors and greenhouse my goal for a final pot size is at least 20 liters, preferably even bigger.
