Furnace project

Done and running! The barrel on the left holds the furnace and sand barrel with copper pipes that will heat up the circulating glycol inside. Glycol will be moved into the floor of the greenhouse to heat up the concrete which will maintain the temperature for a quite long time! The burning hot air will run into the "heart" which is 8mm thick steel. At that point the burning hot air gets some extra oxygen to burn even more efficiently and that will heat up the heart even more! Usually there won't be any smoke coming from the chimney at all as it all burns so efficiently. The HOT, fresh air will be sucked into the greenhouse which can be raised to scorching temperatures if needed.
